Our rates generally range from $40 to $50 per hour depending on the service we provide for you (e.g., proofreading, copy editing, substantive editing, writing, research, research design, statistical analysis, plot analysis, book development). We do not charge extra for working on technical material.

Estimates

After familiarizing ourselves with your project, we can give you a close estimate of the hours required to complete the job and of your total cost. Only then do you decide whether to give us the go-ahead.

Payment

Payment is usually by approved check, money order, wire transfer, or PayPal.

• For first-time customers, we generally request prepayment of a percentage of our initial estimate, with the balance due upon completion of our work. If your project is divided into clearly distinct parts (e.g., chapters or issues), you can usually pay part-by-part, as each is completed.
  
• For established customers and businesses known to us, we can usually bill you upon completion of your project or each distinct part of your project.
